About Hodenpyl Woods
Hodenpyl Woods protects wooded wetlands on both sides of Reeds Lake Boulevard, bordered by Remington Park to the south. A 0.9-mile rustic plant identification trail winds through the woods with several boardwalk crossings and a floating bridge.
It's a favorite with birding groups and one of the best short walks in East Grand Rapids for fall color. Trail maps and a tree and plant list are posted on the city website.
